As a valued member of the Nursing team, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and services to the residents of Presbyterian Home & Retirement Community.
*Responsibilities (overview):*
* Assist RN’s and LPN’s with meeting the needs of residents ADL’s- personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing
* Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of residents
* Provide complete and thorough personal care for residents
* Take and accurately record vital signs
* Promptly and consistently respond to resident's needs
* Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members
* Assist and accompany the residents as needed in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety
* Provide support to patients and family members
*Qualifications (overview):*
* Valid Georgia CNA certification
* Proficient in basic life support and patient care
* Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
* Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems, including Point-Click-Care
* Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings
* Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
* Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care
