Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract job with a client in Waltham, MA . The ideal candidate will have expertise in R, Python, and HPC platforms. Key duties include building bioinformatic pipelines, analyzing NGS data, and collaborating with research teams.

Rate Range: $66/hour to $69/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Scientist job responsibilities include:

• Analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights

• Building and deploying machine learning models

• Designing and implementing data pipelines

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data-driven solutions

• Communicating findings through data visualizations and reports

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field

• 3+ years of experience in data science or related roles

• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages

• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay Details: $66.00 to $69.00 per hour
