The Integrated Thermal Systems (ITS) Operating Unit is the world leader in two-phase thermal management of spacecraft and has more than 30 years of experience designing and manufacturing space-qualified products for various customers. Job Role: This role is for a CNC Programmer to support our manufacturing floor. You will be responsible for reading and understanding DWGs/Models and creating programs for our CNC machines. You will work closely with engineers to provide crucial input on design for manufacturability and collaborate with Machinists on setups and editing programs. This role can be filled as a level 1 or level 2 depending on experience. Basic Qualifications: Level 1: High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years additional education and/or related experience. Level 2: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience. Must be proficient programming with Mastercam 2D/3D Must have experience setting up & operating CNC Mills, lathes, 4th/5th axis Must be able to work off of blueprints/DWGs Must have experience with different types of materials (metals/plastics) Must have a good understanding of tooling Experience with Macros is a plus Experience with wire EDM is a plus Salary Range: $42,000 - $70,000 Salary Range 2: $50,000 - $83,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
