What you'll do As a Manager, Advanced Analytics, you will be part of a strategic and growing team for Walmart Connect. You will be responsible for driving strategic analysis for some of the largest advertisers in the world. Leveraging tools like Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, and Python, you will derive tactical and strategic insights and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders. This is an individual contributor role. Position Description The Manager, Advanced Analytics on the Media Insights team will lead in managing interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis for key insights & performance recommendations with Walmart advertisers. You will handle strategy, planning, campaign completion, and customer analytics to deliver clarity to advertisers seeking causal insights and measurement impact. Create and lead client-facing analysis, including calls and in-person presentations, to drive data-driven best practices, recommendations, and guidance for Walmart Connect’s top advertisers. Perform hands-on analysis, conduct in-depth investigations with the team, lead and execute end-to-end measurement projects, and make actionable recommendations to the business. Assist in process improvement initiatives to scale data and measurement solutions. Contribute to building measurement/analytics tools and platforms reflecting the best available solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, business administration, marketing). 3+ years of experience in integrated marketing strategy & analytics and measurement, managing multiple priorities & milestones. Project management experience handling a high volume of reporting/analyses requests. Experience with data manipulation languages (SQL, R, Python) and visualization tools (Tableau, MS Power BI). Experience in omnichannel marketing, attribution, and ROI measurement, including online advertising performance and awareness. Strong organizational skills and effective project communication. Experience and passion for working in a fast-paced, agile environment, delivering features in short timeframes. Ability to communicate technical topics and metrics clearly. High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, mathematics, business administration, marketing). 5+ years’ experience with media and marketing measurement, analytics, and reporting within an advertising agency or consulting. Experience with online advertising systems (ad servers, DSPs, DMPs). Knowledge of advertising technology, including third-party ad-serving, tag management, and programmatic ad buying platforms. Ability to navigate ambiguity and clarify direction. Experience with project management tools like Jira and Adobe Workfront. Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and statistical concepts. Ability to develop and present strategic, actionable insights to executive audiences.
