Job Summary:

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to lead the deployment and support of secure access technologies across critical enterprise platforms. This role will focus on Tier 0/1 applications, including the implementation of Island Enterprise Browser —a cutting-edge, security-focused browser designed to embed compliance and productivity directly at the user interface level. This position is a 6-month contract role, hybrid, and compensates $60-$67/hour depending on years of experience, certifications, and education.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions such as Zscaler or Palo Alto , and a proven track record in platform deployment, security architecture, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a high-visibility, revenue-impacting role supporting our customer’s Care and Retail organizations, with a user base of over 120,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical deployment and support of secure browser and SASE solutions across enterprise environments.
• Provide Tier 0/1 application support, ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and End User Computing teams to align deployment strategies with business and compliance goals.
• Design and document platform deployment processes, ensuring scalability and repeatability.
• Validate performance, compatibility, and user experience across diverse user groups.
• Act as a technical lead in cross-functional projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and onboarding initiatives.
• Monitor and manage secure access platforms using tools like Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel .
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for secure access technologies and end-user issues.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of experience in security software, secure access, or enterprise platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with SASE solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto) or similar platform implementation experience in large-scale environments.
• Strong background in platform design, deployment, and documentation.
• Experience working in high-impact environments such as telecom, care, or retail.
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk or Sentinel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Island Enterprise Browser or similar secure browser technologies.
• Industry certifications: CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CISA, or CISM.
• Familiarity with telecom industry standards
• Experience with critical infrastructure systems and high-availability platforms.

Compensation:

60/hr to 67/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
